Q: I've never been to Greenpoint. How will I find my way around?
A: The neighborhood of Greenpoint is easily accessed by the G trains at Nassau or Greenpoint Avenue. The L train is also a short walk away. Bus lines such as the B43 and B62 service the area as well. We will have a Map & Guide page, where you will be able to find artists!
Q: Will you have any guided tours?
A: We aren’t doing guided tours this year, but encourage people to create their own!
QUESTIONS FROM ARTISTS
Q: What is the sign up deadline?
A: Sign up deadlines for 2026 will be shared soon.
Q: What hours do I need to open my studio?
A: 12pm-6pm on both Saturday May 30th and May 31st 2026.
Q: Do you have any posters or brochures I can download to post online or print out?
A: Yes! We will have physical flyers and promotional materials to pick up at select events and Info Hubs leading up to the event, and can share virtual copies upon request. We will also provide promotional images you can use on your social media. Sign up for our email list to be sure to receive updates on when/where to receive promo materials.
Q: I registered, and my information has changed or I realized I entered the incorrect info after I submitted.
A: Once registered you should have received an editable form with your submission and can make changes directly for the website and online map.
Q: I'm an artist, and I won't be in town during those dates. Can I still participate?
A: Someone must be present to host your studio during the hours of 12pm-6pm on Saturday May 30th and Sunday May 31st in order for you to participate in Greenpoint Open Studios.
Q: Ok, I registered. Now what?
A: Get some pieces prepped and your studio ready to host folks during GOS weekend. We will be rolling out an online map and printed postcards as the date approaches, as well as hosting artist networking events. Stay tuned on our site and join our mailing list to get updates!
Q: How can I get my art featured on your Instagram?
A: To guarantee a share on Instagram, you can add on the option on your sign up form for a $10 fee.
Q: I live in Greenpoint and want to participate, but don't have a dedicated studio space. Can I use my apartment/house address?
A: Absolutely! As long as you're comfortable opening your home up to the public, you're welcome to use your personal address to showcase your work. We also encourage artists to connect with local businesses who often are able to provide wall or table space to artists throughout the weekend.
