Artist Statement
Youri Hwang is a visual artist based in New York, United States. She received her BFA in Advertising/Design at School of Visual Arts in New York and originally work as an Art Director, Designer in Advertising industry for 7 years. She also worked as a freelance illustrator/visual artist for past 3 years. She has been creating arts for her entire life and slowly expanding her artistic path. Her sole focus with her art is to portray her viewpoint of life, love and death. Her main medium is a pen and pencil with layering different shades of delicate lines to represent the connection between people.
