Artist Statement

I’m a 35mm color film photographer based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I prefer to work with 35mm film because it allows me to always have a camera with me and capture images that I would miss with a more cumbersome system. I’m always looking for ways to simplify a scene and drawn to shadows, lines and small amounts of color. Being trained as a graphic designer helps me search for simple compositions, usually found in the city.
