Artist Statement

Sophie Clerc is a French illustrator based in Brooklyn and the founder of Chromaticart Studio. Inspired by the rich tradition of European graphic novels she grew up with, her work bursts with vibrant colors, eccentric characters, and playful monsters. Through her illustrations, Sophie creates whimsical worlds with a subtle dash of darkness, inviting the imagination to wander.
