Artist Statement

My interest is always the space we move through. My paintings often present an abstract culmination of that visual journey, combining impressions, juxtaposing or examining details close up. Their images are derived from my travels or, in the case of my soccerscapes, from the space of televised futbol matches. I work primarily in watercolor and oil paint.
