Artist Statement

Thoughtfully hand built ceramics that carry the imprint of the maker in every curve, texture, and asymmetry. Unlike mass-produced pieces, each form is shaped slowly by hand — pinched, coiled, and sculpted with intention — allowing the material to guide the process as much as the artist does. The result is work that feels deeply human: tactile surfaces, organic silhouettes, and subtle imperfections that become part of the story. Sara’s approach to 3D objects is informed by her background in handbags and accessories design, by creating an unconventional play on function with surface interest.
