Artist Statement

“The Lady in Greenpoint” is a 3-mile walking audio ghost story starting at the Pulaski Bridge. It was released in 2022 and is available for walkers to do when they’d like at www.theladyingreenpoint.com. The story mixed fact with fiction, and took advantage of actual locations throughout Greenpoint. One such location is where this particular art show takes place. To keep walkers on the correct path, I created 55 or so charcoal drawings. These not only assisted the production but also happened to capture a specific moment in Greenpoint’s history—after the pandemic, before the waterfront towers were completed.
