Artist Statement
I am a multidisciplinary artist working across several media such as performance and painting, street art, and installation. As I have been working internationally in the past years I find an anthropological essence in what I do and a great connection with each context I work and research in. My current work focuses on the deconstruction of dogmas, questioning the existence of how we live in our society. I re-create departure platforms for new ways of thinking. My interest in to envision and re-create the world and presenting it through my art in an improved way. As I believe we as human beings are just at the start of unfolding our true potential. When creating a painting a mosaic or a large mural, I like to relate to the world that surrounds me, portraying reflections of my inner emotional landscape, always with a hint of hope for a better humanity. My work is phenomenological, so in reveals itself to me as I think about it and create it. In fact, there is a lot of rational planning to then pass onto the flowing part which is the phenomenological part I mentioned. which is vital for the work to shine. My way of creating art as in life is not to only deliver, but one very important and basic part is to listen, absorb, to "become" what is needed for the context where I create.
