Artist Statement

I paint scenes of warriors, lovers, and thieves. I imagine these characters struggling in a harsh, unrelenting, desertlike place. In my paintings I struggle to give solid physical presence to this vision. In return I want to feel exhilaration, to reach people, and to experience magic.
