Artist Statement

My paintings are a kaleidoscopic catalogue of daily life—an attempt to capture fleeting impressions and internal landscapes as they unfold moment to moment. Each piece begins with a personal experience, a memory, or a passing observation, and evolves through a layering of vantage points. This multifaceted approach allows me to shift between the seen and the felt, the literal and the emotional. Color plays a central role in my process. Rather than representing reality, I use color to evoke mood and guide the viewer’s emotional response. Through this lens, my work becomes less about place or object and more about the feeling they leave behind. There is a cinematic quality to my compositions—fragmented yet fluid—like stills from a film that doesn’t follow a linear narrative. The result is a visual rhythm that reflects how memory blurs and distills experience into something both abstract and deeply personal.
