Artist Statement
Artist’s Statement The enhanced capabilities of our hand held devices has created a way to present ourselves to an audience with little effort and is now the norm. Selfies have become the ultimate expression of self-promotion. Our desire for attentions seems to be the culturally accepted way of life. We now and may always curate and control our online personas to present any kind of version of ourselves; polished, distorted, or fabricated to the world. In my latest work I use a variety of mediums to explore these themes.
