Artist Statement
Mary Franck is an artist and computational designer working in immersive and real-time media. As an artist she creates contemplative experiences entwined and in contrast with contemporary digital technology. Her work combines physical materials and algorithmic video into sculptural and installation pieces. These luminous, dream-like visual environments to embody themes of memory, alienation and obsession and serve to explore presence and embodiment.
