Artist Statement
Combined with referential imagery and homages, my sketches and watercolor studies of NYC, contrasted darks and lights, intense color, atmosphere and humor, I visually reconstruct surreal narratives and thoughts on existentialism. I make my paintings to better understand myself and this city, while also using them as a way to communicate and connect with people.
