Artist Statement
A visionary, born and raised in New York City. STEELO, founder of HESI art collectiv, began his artistic pursuits at a young age, finding his passion and creativity through impact and innovation. As a first-generation American, STEELO earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Graphic Design from Howard University. Today, his creativity and zeal for the arts can be experienced through his vivid paintings and style. His passion generates a unique inspiration to capture viewers’ attention, urging them to think deeper and to look inward.
