Artist Statement

These works are visual systems—repetitive, intuitive, and rule-bound, but always vulnerable to disruption. They explore the tension between logic and compulsion, structure and improvisation. Each line is a decision, a gesture of control or release. Together, they form emergent fields: topographies of attention, memory, and inner architecture. The act of drawing becomes a mode of thinking – an embodied algorithm looping across time. This practice is both return and continuation: a re-engagement with a language formed decades ago, now inflected by lived experience, discipline, and distance.
