Artist Statement
My current focus is trying to illustrate connections of relationships by tapping into the ephemeral feel of a conversation – a passing communication/connection between people, places, and time. I have been collaging with Inkjet transfers. Inkjet transfers are made by collaging transfers of inkjet prints to the paper’s surface using a burnishing transfer process. The image comes together through a series of multiple layers.
