Artist Statement

I am a painter, working mostly in oil and charcoal. I focus on a quiet sensation through natural light. Nature provides sensational moments: Logical but also spontaneous. Observing nature begins the process of knowing the world and myself. I look for these discoveries and understanding through my art.
