Artist Statement
Painting in an abstract manner Joe Piscopia creates art that is highly personal in form. Whether working in shapes that are amorphous in nature or at times geometrical in design he constructs these images by extensive thought and drawing. His art is one of refined preparation, investigation, and illumination which then become verifications in his daily studio practice.
