Artist Statement

My work is a study of the hidden cycles found in everyday structures and the landscape. Within the lens of scientific illustration, I expose the surrealistic rituals found when we organize, collect and arrange objects as a means of control. Equally in the act of painting and drawing, these rituals are a preservation of a moment to solidify the fragile and unseen.
