Artist Statement

Ilse Murdock works with stream of human cast-offs, and trash culture she works in outdoor locations using the site of painting to explore human relationships to nature. Karen Dias is an interdisciplinary artist and photojournalist from Mumbai living in New York City. Her work is concerned with representations of violence, power and conflict using everyday materials and objects. Her practice spans across drawing, photography, sculpture, and installation. Zoë Fitzpatrick Rogers reimagines accessibility to New York City water through materiality, craft, and open-source research. The works investigate toxicity and healing by centering autonomous agency and creating multiple levels of intimacy with materials.
