Artist Statement
HOMOCATS is a visual art project connecting the modern popularity of the feline with social politics, created by Greenpoint artist J. Morrison with a zine entitled "Fight the Power". The work aims to fight phobias, propose equal rights, combat cultural stereotypes, question social norms, resist Trumpism, and to make the world a better place. We have maintained a studio in Greenpoint since 2001.
