Artist Statement
Brother Graham is a mixed media artist using self portrait as a means to better understand his self. For Greenpoint open studio, he invites the public into his studio to partake in his own process, setting up a self portrait booth where you are able to create your own art. He currently works primarily with metal sculpture, image transfers, photography and experimental film. As an artist, he believes in the alchemy of transmuting our biggest fears and doubts, our most challenging moments of suffering into beauty. In this way, his art is his medicine and his work is a diary entry.
