Artist Statement
By using the physicality of my own body – as a living brush – I ground myself on the canvas imbuing my paintings with raw & living energy. My figurative paintings are home to healing and introspection. By incorporating organic materials, I'm reconnecting to nature and what it means to be human in a world that is increasingly dominated by artificiality. My work calls viewers to reflect on their own connection to Earth.
