Artist Statement

I’m Estrella Muñoz, a native of Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and a multidisciplinary fine artist and muralist with a passion for transforming everyday spaces into immersive works of art. Best known for my original, freehand storefront murals, I’ve earned the nickname "The Window Queen" for my intricate, nature-inspired creations that live on glass, brick, and beyond. My style is rooted in realism, but I explore a wide range of visual languages—allowing my work to shift between delicate detail and bold expression. My practice spans oils, acrylics, watercolor, charcoal, sculpture, spray paint, and airbrush. Whether working on canvas or concrete, I bring the same intention: to create art that connects, uplifts, and reawakens our sense of wonder. My work has been shown in New York City, New Jersey, and Florida, collected by private buyers, and shaped through collaborations with local businesses and creatives. At the heart of it all, I believe in the power of art to transform space, elevate spirit, and root us back into the natural world—even in the most urban corners of the city.
