Artist Statement
Studio Igor recently came into existence when a graphic illustrator could no longer look at computer screens after undergoing brain surgery. Now she does artwork only by hand without any digital tools. Working across watercolors, embroidery, hand sculpting, but currently focusing on acrylic paintings, her work is still very much informed by graphic design and the impact of color and type.
