Artist Statement

My recent paintings continue to focus on the interior, the home, memory, dream and longing. Color is heightened to enhance a dreamlike sense of space and light. Tension between the interior and exterior space and light in the paintings create a compelling sense of unease or of being unmoored from everyday reality.
