Artist Statement
I have lived in the Williamsburg/Greenpoint neighborhoods all my life. I got my BFA at Cooper Union and studied ceramic design at parsons. My work includes ceramic sculptures and functional items inspired by modern and ancient cultures and forms from the natural world using colored porcelain, stoneware and earthenware, sometimes incorporating resin, textiles, wood and other media. I like to experiment with glaze layering, marbling techniques and luster finishes.
