Artist Statement

My ceramic work lives at the intersection of the natural world and the fantastical. Inspired by everything from nature and mythology to pets, and pop culture, I create both functional pottery and sculptural lighting pieces that invite curiosity, warmth, and a sense of play. Working primarily with porcelain, stoneware, and resin, I explore contrasts—softness and structure, whimsy and reverence, the handmade and the otherworldly. Each piece is a tactile story, rooted in the earth yet reaching into dreamlike realms. Whether it’s a porcelain urchin lamp or a mug shaped like a beetle, my goal is to bring a little magic into everyday moments.
