Artist Statement

I’m a Brooklyn-based illustrator and printmaker who creates animal characters in motion-filled, story-driven scenes, often capturing the spirit of subcultures like skateboarding and classic country music. I combine traditional printmaking techniques, like woodcut and screenprinting, with digital illustration to give my work a handcrafted nostalgia with a modern twist. I run Dog Gone Studios, my creative outlet and online shop where I sell limited edition art prints, t-shirts, stickers, and other handmade goods. Outside of Dog Gone, I also work as a freelance illustrator and have collaborated with brands like Nike, Vans, Thrasher Magazine, Creature Skateboards, Deathwish Skateboards, and Independent Truck Co. For open studios, I’m excited to share some of my larger woodcut pieces that I don’t usually get to show unless someone stops by the studio.
