Artist Statement
I am a New York based artist whose work situates itself in the larger field of new media, sculpture, installations and photography. For more than a decade I have chosen to live and work outside of my native Australia, immersing myself in the cultures, languages and belief systems of New York, Tokyo, Buenos Aires and Dublin. I have gained extended exposure to issues that are at once culturally specific and globally applicable—specifically, the themes of geopolitics and global economies in relation to the themes of immigration, migration and isolation as they are coupled with biometrics and surveillance.
