Artist Statement
Dan Funderburgh creates wallpaper, installation art, and prints that play with historic ornament and contemporary environments. Across different media consistent themes are the exploration of pattern and the recontextualizing world decorative art. Dan’s work can be seen in on the walls of bars, hotels, museums, and train platforms around the city if you know where to look. He been living and working in brooklyn since 2003.
