Artist Statement

Clara McClenon creates drawings negotiating the seen and the unseeable. Her lyrical analysis of the mystery of perception pulls from her work at the intersection of art and science. McClenon earned a BS in Neuroscience from Washington and Lee University (2010), and a MS in Information and MFA from the University of Michigan (2016).
