Artist Statement

Cecilia Trollby is a Swedish artist, who started working with ceramics in Brooklyn 2010 and has continued to develop her skills in studios in Seattle & London. Her influences come from her love of the sea, the desert and the magic of the natural world. An instant connection to clay as a medium – and the alchemy of glazes – inspire ever evolving styles and shapes. Her Scandinavian background is reflected in the simple palette.
