Artist Statement
Caroline Vieregge is a figurative drawer/painter based in Brooklyn NY. Vieregge’s works aim to explore private moments with the figure, primarily the female nude, to explore the idea of exposing introspection through a visual reference. In her work, the female nude is the primary metaphor to convey one’s inner intimacy, and ultimately vulnerability, with expressing of their innermost emotions. Caroline Vieregge is a North Carolina native and has earned her B.A. in drawing from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
