Artist Statement

The weekend show focuses on the employees of Boxart Inc., just one of the many fine art handling companies in NYC. In such a major cultural industry, these artists work hard for the art world, moving, hanging, cleaning, packing, crating and overall caring for the artwork. After long hours on the clock they head to their studios to create their own art; ranging from painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, dance and music.
