Artist Statement

ARTICLE22 is a women-owned sustainable jewelry brand that celebrates stories of transformation and makes real impact. Our Peacebomb Jewelry Collection is a physical piece of positive transformation - bombs turned into symbols of love and hope. Since 2009, ARTICLE22 has been the artistic and business vector to market for the Peacebomb Jewelry Collection that we co-create with artisans in Laos. Each handcrafted talisman piece of jewelry is a powerful symbol for every person on a quest to turn bad into good. Working together to bring their brilliant local innovation transforming Vietnam War bombs into soup spoons to market through a bracelet, and today, a full collection of meaningful jewelry that advances sustainable development goals. Specifically, contributing to our partner MAG (Mines Advisory Group) to clear some of the 80 million unexploded bombs in Laos and pursuing sustainable development through a trade not aid model with our artisan partners.
