Artist Statement
Annalise Yuri (1991), is an Artist and Filmmaker in Brooklyn NY. For GOS, the artist will display a series of paintings from 2019-2023. Annalise Yuri's paintings render emotional, intangible, and multi-dimensional experiences into a bright and flattened world. The work utilizes a painting technique of human control that resembles graphic design and vectorized shapes. Converting these complex experiences into vectorized and accessible forms, the artist is working to reconcile our shared experiences. The paintings are seen as receipts of the human journey as it relates to our ephemeral self and spiritual path. We are small, but we are not insignificant. Every Action, an echo through time.
