Artist Statement

Relationships occupy a central place within my body of work. By sewing and painting sentimental fabric scraps together to capture narrative scenes of our humorous moments. The past 9 months I have explored creating oil paintings. I use the risk of exposure to lure men like a siren. I create my own visual vocabulary to show life in its diversity, as it unfolds for me during my individual and personal time on this planet.
