Artist Statement

My work explores hybridity, liminality, and the concept of "third space," shaped by personal histories of cultural and post-colonial tension. I create installations that blur boundaries between the digital and physical, conjuring spaces of eerie beauty and quiet unease. In the project on view, viewers encounter a choreography of mechanical wings that respond to their presence and shifting environmental conditions. The work invites participants into an uncanny, suspended atmosphere—prompting reflection on the altered states of our environments and humanity’s deep entanglement in an era of growing ecological precarity.
