Artist Statement

Ashli Bickford is an abstract mixed media and collage artist based in a practice of spontaneous quantity- creating multiple pieces at once and allowing a process of intuitive painting and flow state to emerge. Her work is bold, colorful and often incorporates collage as a way to generate new ideas through the art of subtraction. Ashli lives and creates from her home in Greenpoint, Brooklyn and draws inspiration from her garden and color studies in nature.
