Artist Statement

Parallel Development is an engineering and design studio that specializes in public art fabrication for others. Recently, we've been developing our own line of lighting that integrates our expertise in programmable LEDs and metal fabrication with our own design process. The lightweight and functionally driven design of these lights is both biological and industrial, featuring geometric arrays of LED strips that can display a variety of dynamic looping media.
