Liam Kelly is a queer and trans artist based in Brooklyn whose work centers on accessibility, functionality, and good design. Rooted in ceramics, their practice blends form and function, prioritizing usability without sacrificing visual appeal. They believe that quality craftsmanship should be available to everyone—regardless of ability or income—and this philosophy drives both their design choices and approach to making. Their pieces are meant to be lived with: comfortable to hold, easy to use, and satisfying to look at. Both in and outside the studio they are committed to sharing knowledge within the ceramics community—through teaching, collaboration, and open dialogue—helping to build a more inclusive and supportive creative space.
