Artist Statement

My work explores the interplay between color, form, and structure through abstract painting. I’m interested in how layers of paint can reflect the layers of human emotion, and how approaches to painting often mirror approaches to life. I work on canvas, found objects, and most recently, shaped canvases as a way to manipulate space and push the boundaries of traditional painting. Each piece seeks its own balance between control and spontaneity. This is a tension I continually strive to navigate and express.
