Artist Statement

I paint stories, sometimes fictional, sometimes true, sometimes based in what I see going on around me and sometimes just nonsense, which I often see as accurate depictions of our current going-ons. I would say the common themes are of redundancy in motion, hypocrisy, violence, greed and a lack of autonomy or self awareness; the latter evoking a sense of machine in the processes and progressions of the story.
