Artist Statement

Who are you? Who are we? What can we create when our minds come together? Translating real-time brainwaves into visuals and sounds, Waves of Us captures captures the fleeting moment when two human minds synchronize, blurring boundaries between self and other. Through extensive research into biofeedback technologies, Maqsood delivered a system that transforms invisible states of mind into a shared sensory experience. Waves of Us is a meditation on presence, inviting viewers to participate in a connective experience that exits only in the that moment, never to be repeated.
