Artist Statement
As an intuitive gestural abstract painter, I work from inner thought inspired by my internal visual library. When I am painting I choose the colors and the tools intuitively in an expressive moment where I am in harmony with the creation of the piece. After I am finished I feel sit with the painting to decide the next move. This could take minutes or months. There are no fears about making changes or destroying what I have already created because each painting has a life of its own which it is my privilege to search for, create and reveal.
