Artist Statement
At Grouphug our mission is to empower everyone to live their best sustainable lives in style. We’re creating products that help more people adopt sustainable technology, like solar panels, into their everyday lifestyles. Our first product, the Window Solar Charger, is currently in beta. It's a window-mounted solar panel designed for apartment dwellers to take their devices off-the-grid. Founded by Krystal Persaud, an NYC-based product designer & creative technologist. She is a founding member & former Senior Director of Product Design at littleBits and also teaches interaction design at SVA. Krystal Persaud is an A/D/O Workspace Member.
