Artist Statement

Ashli Bickford is an artist based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, creating abstract pieces inspired by natural processes, organic forms, and botanical elements. Her work explores the balance between control and spontaneity through layered washes, fluid pigments, and intuitive mark-making. Working in quantity, her process is intuitive and loose. Drawing from nature’s form, each piece evolves through experimentation, allowing chance and material to shape the final composition.
