Artist Statement

tucker ludlow tucker ludlow, aka scott miller, is a Brooklyn-based maker whose artistic practice spans painting, sculpture, photography, and moving image. This season brings a focus on gouache and ink. The work explores the the liminal tension that exist between the figure as form and form as figure in space. In their work, tucker delves deeper into the split between mind and body, the repursuit of wholeness, and the quest for belonging. They seek to capture the friction of being both witness and participant, inviting viewers to reflect on the delicate balance between consciousness and uncertainty.
