Greenpoint Open Studios 2019 could not happen without the support of our sponsors!

Java Studios is a community of artists and offices in a 30,000 facility. Our 150 studios are filled by entrepreneurs who think, create, and meet within its walls. Curated by artists, designers, non-profit organizations and small businesses, we provide the tools to transform a dream into reality and the space for growth and development. With unlimited resources, we offer the opportunity to create connections and work productively in a personalized and spacious studio.

Built for designers yet open to all, A/D/O by MINI provides a unique environment for creative work while also inviting the public into its 23,000 square-foot space in Greenpoint, Brooklyn — to explore design through a range of installations, exhibitions and events. At the heart of A/D/O is programming that intends to provoke and invigorate the creative practice of professional designers, convening pioneers from diverse backgrounds to spark debate and inspire relevant new work.

A/D/O is opening its Workspace doors for Greenpoint Open Studios. View projects made in the Workspace and sign up for a tour. Featuring works by Krystal Persaud of Grouphug, Emmanuel Gambin, Eunie Kim and Clio Sage.

Morgan Fine Arts & Film Center

The Morgan Fine Arts Building offers over 100 world class work spaces ranging from 70 to 600 square feet on a 24/7 basis in a secure, quiet, and well maintained environment at competitive prices.  It also features daily rooms with projectors, vision and dry erase boards in Classroom, Theater, Workshop/Vision Board, and Conference configurations.  To come:  fully equipped Rap recording spaces, photography spaces, a Club Room, and a roof deck.  Stay tuned.

During this year’s GOS, dozens of separate studios on five floors will be open to the public, displaying fine art in every medium – painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, joinery, music, motion pictures, & more.

Free wine bar and snacks on the lower floor.

Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union

Established in 1976 to help immigrants who, upon arrival in New York City, wanted to buy houses in Greenpoint but were turned down by the banks. Banks were unwilling to extend credit for purchases or renovations of real estate properties to people who did not yet have an established credit history, especially since these properties were located in an area that was run-down at the time.

PSFCU is currently the largest ethnic credit union in the U.S. and serves 90 thousand members, with over 1.8 billion in assets. Visit them in two locations in Greenpoint at 138 Greenpoint Ave or 100 McGuinness Blvd.

Broadway Stages for Kingsland Wildflowers

Experience live art focusing on the environment jointly presented by Kingsland Wildflowers at Broadway Stages and NOoSPHERE Arts, a nonprofit housed at Last Frontier NYC, the artist studio located just below the roof gardens.

NOoSPHERE Arts produces multidisciplinary public arts programming from acclaimed artists all across the world. These co-hosted summer events will raise awareness for environmental justice issues and community efforts to revitalize Newtown Creek and the surrounding Greenpoint neighborhood.

BEYOND THE STREETS, the premier exhibition of graffiti street art and beyond, will feature more than 150 artists from around teh world from June 21 through August, 2019!

Continuing its mission to elevate the artform and defy conventions,  BEYOND THE STREETS New York will take over two floors of Twenty Five Kent, a new creative office building located on the waterfront in North Williamsburg. The exhibition will be comprised of more than 100,000 square feet of space and feature programming including performances, lectures and films.
